Zigzag Diamond Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Zigzag Diamond Stitch:
Work with multiple of 18 sts + 7 + 2 edge sts.
Cast on 27 stitches (3 + 18 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.
The pat rep = 18 sts wide.
Begin with 1 edge st and 3 sts before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 4 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
Row 1: edge st, k3, * yo, skpo, k16, repeat from * to last 5 sts, yo, skpo, k2, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k2tog, k1, yo, * k1, yo, k7, cdd, k7, yo, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k1, yo, k1, skpo, edge st.
