Pullover with Lace and Leaf Patterns

Materials: 

Yarn: 450 g (20% Merino Wool, 80% Acrylic, yardage = 135 m/50 g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Reverse stocking stitch (Rev st st): Work RS rows P and WS rows K.

Lace Pattern: 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-14.

Lace Panel:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Leaf Pattern:

Work according to chart 3. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-16 throughout.

Gauge: 25 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 120 sts and work as foll: selv st, 23 sts in Rev st st, 15 sts in Lace Pattern, 8 sts of Lace Panel, 26 sts in Leaf Pattern, 8 sts of Lace Panel, 15 sts in Lace Pattern, 23 sts in Rev st st, selv st. 

Side Slants: Dec 1 st each side every 8th row 7 times = 106 sts.

Armhole Shaping: After 37 cm from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 2 sts twice and 1 st 6 times = 78 sts.

Neckline Shaping: After 57 cm from beg, bind off center 22 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 2 sts twice, 1 st once and rem 23 sts for shoulder once on every other row.

Front: 

Work as given for back, but for neckline, after 51 cm from beg, bind off center 16 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 st once on every other row. 

When work measures 60 cm from beg, bind off rem 23 sts for shoulder.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 60 sts and work 10 rows in St st.

Cont as foll: selv st, 8 sts in Rev st st, 8 sts of Lace Panel, 26 sts in Leaf Pattern, 8 sts of Lace Panel, 8 sts in Rev st st, selv st. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st each side every 8th row 16 times = 92 sts.

Cap Shaping: After 46 cm from beg, bind off 5 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 14 times, 2 sts 3 times, 5 sts once and rem 20 sts once. 

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves. 

For neckband, with WS facing and circular needle pick up and 80 sts evenly around neck edge. Then knit 4 rnds, purl 1 rnd (for fold), knit 5 rnds. 

Fold band in half to RS and sew open sts. 

Using circular needle, pick up sts along fold row and work 15 rnds in St st. Bind off all sts loosely.
