Materials:

Yarn: 350 g (72% Cotton, 28 % Poloamide, yardage = 360 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 3 mm, 1 crochet hook size 3 mm.

Rib Pat: K2, P2 Rib.

St st: K on RS rows, p on WS rows.

Center Pat:

Work acc to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Lace Pat:

Work acc to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Border:

Work acc to chart 3.

Gauge: 19 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

BACK:

Cast on 86 sts and work 2 rows in Rib Pat.

Cont as foll: Selv st, 21 sts in St st, 44 sts in Center Pat, 21 sts in St st, selv st.

For the Side Shaping, after 8 cm from beg, dec 1 st 3 times on each side in every 4th row.

After 4 cm from last dec row, inc 1 st 3 times on each side in every 4th row.

For the Armhole Shaping, after 35 cm from beg, bind off 5 sts on each side, 3 sts on each side in every 2nd row once, 2 sts once, 1 st once = 64 sts.

For the Neck Shaping, after 52 cm from beg, bind off center 24 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge, bind off 3 sts in every 2nd row twice, bind off remaining 14 shoulder sts.

FRONT:

Work as given for back.

For the Neck Shaping, after 42 cm from beg, bind off center 18 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge, bind off 3 sts in every 2nd row once, 2 sts twice, 1 st twice, bind off remaining 14 shoulder sts once.

SLEEVE:

Cast on 42 sts and work 2 rows in Rib Pat.

Cont in Lace Pat (= 5 pat rep + 2 selv sts).

For the Sleeve Shaping, after 5 cm from beg, inc 1 st 11 times on each side in every 8th row = 64 sts.

For the Top Shaping, after 45 cm from beg, bind off 5 sts on each side, 2 sts on each side in every 2nd row twice, 1 st 14 times, 2 sts once and bind off remaining 14 sts once.

FINISHING:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew in sleeves, sew side and sleeve seams.

Work border acc to crochet chart around lower edge of sweater, neck edge and lower edge of sleeves.
