Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (100% Wool, 110 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7).

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Lace Pattern: 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear; work yos P.

Cable Pattern: 

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Gauge:

over Lace Pattern: 14 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 72 sts and work 16 rows in Rib Patt. 

Cont to work 104 rows in Lace Pattern.

Neckline Shaping: On Row 105 from rib, bind off center 24 sts and 3 sts once, 2 sts once on every 2nd row at both neck edges. 

On Row 113 from rib, bind off 19 sts each side for shoulders.

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline. 

Neckline Shaping: On Row 89 from rib, bind off center 20 sts and then 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st twice on every 2nd row at both neck edges..

On Row 113 from rib, bind off 19 sts each side for shoulders.

Sleeves:

Cast on 35 sts and work 22 rows in Rib Patt, inc 15 sts evenly across last row = 51 sts.

Cont as foll: 6 sts in St st, 39 sts in Lace Patt, 6 sts in St st. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc each side 1 st every 8th row 4 times, then 1 stitch every 4th row 5 times = 69 sts.

On Row 61 from rib, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

For collar, cast on 13 sts and work in Cable Pattern for 168 rows. 

Sew finished collar to neckline edge as shown in photo.
