Band Collar Short Sleeve Pullover

Sizes: M/L

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g Vita Scarlett (49% Wool, 51 % Acrylic, yardage = 225 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 4 mm (US 6).

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Basic Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear; work yos P.

Work Rows 1-30 once, then repeat Rows 3-30 throughout.

Gauge: 23.5 sts and 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 106 sts and work 12 rows in Rib Patt. Inc 7 sts evenly across last row = 113 sts.

Cont as foll: selv st, rep patt 5 times, P1, selv st. Work acc to chart of Basic Pattern. 

Armhole Shaping: On Row 95 from Basic Pattern beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row = 89 sts.

On Row 61 from armhole beg, bind off all sts.

Front: 

Work like back, but with neckline.

Neckline Shaping: On Row 39 from armhole beg, bind off center 15 sts and, on either side of them, 3 sts twice, 2 sts once, 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row.

On Row 61 from armhole beg, bind off rem 26 sts each side for shoulders.

Sleeve: 

Cast on 74 sts and work 12 rows in Rib Patt. Inc 5 sts evenly across last row = 79 sts. 

Work acc to chart of Basic Pattern, beg with 7th st of patt rep. 

Cap Shaping: On Row 35 from Basic Pattern beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 3 sts once, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 14 times, 3 sts 3 times.

On Row 45 from cap beg, bind off rem 7 sts.

Finishing:

Sew side and shoulder seams.

Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves. 

With circular needle size 4 mm, pick up 96 sts evenly around neck edge (from WS) and work 36 rnds in Rib Patt. Bind off all sts.

Fold collar in half to WS and sew in place.
