Top Down Raglan Knitting Pattern

Raglan Line Increase for Top Down:

Raglan Line A:

Cast on 11 sts and work according to chart.

RS rows and WS rows are shown.

Work rows 1-4 once, then rep rows 3-4 throughout.

Row 1: Knit.

Row 2: Purl.

Row 3: knit, insert needle into raglan st (center st) 2 rows below and draw up st, knit raglan st, then insert needle into raglan st 2 rows below and draw up st, knit.

Row 4: purl, slip elongated sts (do not work them), with yarn in front.

Raglan Line B:

Cast on 11 sts and work according to chart.

RS rows and WS rows are shown.

Row 1: Knit.

Row 2: Purl.

Row 3: knit, insert needle into raglan st (center st) 3 rows below and draw up st, 1 yo, then insert needle into raglan st 3 rows below and draw up st, knit raglan st, then again insert needle into raglan st 3 rows below and draw up st, 1 yo, again insert needle into raglan st 3 rows below and draw up st, knit.

Row 4: purl, slip elongated sts (do not work them), with yarn in front.

Row 5: knit, work elongated st and prev st tog K, K5, then work elongated st and foll st tog K.

Row 6: Purl.

Work rows 1-6 once, then rep rows 3-6 throughout.
