How to knit Eyelet Stitch with Top Down Raglan:
Cast on 17 sts (2 + 3 + 5 raglan sts + 3 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only RS rows.
On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.
The pat rep = 3 sts wide.
yo: yarn over
slip wyib: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work
work 2 sts from 3 sts: K2tog, with the left needle, pick up the last loop of the 2 sts knitted together and knit together through the back loop with the next stitch
2-st RT: knit 2nd st before first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle
2-st LT: knit through the back loop 2nd st behind first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle
2-st RTyo: knit 2nd st before the first st, without dropping from LH needle, yarn over, knit the first st, drop sts from LH needle
2-st LTyo: knit 2nd st behind the first st, without dropping from LH needle, yarn over, knit the first st, drop sts from LH needle
Row 1: edge st, k5 (= knit to raglan sts), 5 raglan sts (= 2-st RT, slip wyib, 2-st LT), k5 (= knit to last stitch), edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k2, * yo, work 2 sts from 3 sts, repeat from * to raglan sts, yo, 5 raglan sts (= 2-st RT, slip wyib, 2-st LT), yo, * work 2 sts from 3 sts, yo, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k2, edge st.
Row 5: edge st, k6 (= knit to raglan sts), 5 raglan sts (= 2-st RTyo, slip wyib, 2-st LTyo), k6 (= knit to last stitch), edge st.
