Easy Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Stitch:
Multiple of 6 + 1 + 2 edge sts.
Cast on 15 sts (6 + 6 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only RS rows.
On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.
The pat rep = 6 sts wide.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
Rows 1 and 5: knit all sts.
Row 2 and every even row: purl all sts and yo’s.
Row 3: edge st, * k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.
Row 7: edge st, k1, yo, skpo, * k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k1, k2tog, yo, k1, edge st.
Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
